ASAHI MACHINERY LIMITED was originally founded in kita-ku, Osaka, under the name of Asahi Ironworks Co. Ltd.
•1966
Extended business into paper processing machinery field and started manufacturing Asahi-Style Automatic Die Cutting and Creasing Machine for making boxes.
•1967
By technical merger with East and Johnson of England and Green Bank, "PAPERMASTER", paper-seasoning machines were mandufactured and sold.
•1969
Sales of "HEADBOX" commenced under the technical merger with Escherwis of West Germany.
•1970
The first "CARTONMASTER" was manufactured under the technical merger with William Crosland Co. Ltd. of England (the present SHS Group-ex Simon Container Machinery Co. Ltd.)
•1984
The name of the company was changed from Asahi Ironworks Co. Ltd. to ASAHI MACHINERY LIMITED
•1988
KOREA ASAHI MACHINERY LIMITED, a subsidiary company with 100% investment (with a capital of 2.5 billion Won) was founded.
Manufacture and sales of an automatic folder "GLUER-MASTER" commenced.
•1992
The company celebrated its 75th Anniversary.
•1995
Asahi Engineering Ltd., A subsidiary company with 100% investment (with acapital of ¥10 million ) was founded.
"Push-Type SYNCHRO CUTTER", our newest invention, won the "Sasaki Award"
•2002
Dietec ASAHI europe GmbH, a subsidiary company was founded in germany.
•2004
On June 18,2004, Li MingKang, Chairman of Board of Directors of Nantai Industrial Co., Ltd., exchanged contract copies with Masumotosinji, Chairman of Board of Directors off ASAHI Machinery Co., Ltd. at the signing ceremony.
The project is made with the help of KYOEI SHOJI Joint-stock Company of Japanm which has been trading with New China since the founding of the latter. It has quite rich knowledge and experience especially in the field of all types of packaging machineries and has made some contributions to the packaging industry of China.
